Educational concept

Each child has its own personality and is an actor of its own development with the questions, ideas and experiences of its life world. It is valued in our house, received and experienced by the educational staff a loving accompaniment and support of his individual development.

We accept every child where it stands, and look at it from their strengths, not deficit-oriented. In our facility, the children are free to develop their personality and make diverse experiences that promote their individual development and strengthen their self-confidence.

Great emphasis is placed on transparency in the work. This applies in particular to the many areas of experience of the children. All worries, wishes and concerns of children and parents are taken seriously.

The pedagogical concept focuses on the topic of "the little researchers".

Costs

The parental contribution is based on the income of the parents and is levied by the local youth welfare office in accordance with the KiBiZ (Children's Education Act).

Location

Our childcare centre is located in close proximity to the UDE campus in Essen. There is also a student residence in the same building.

For a place at "Brückenspatzen" you can reserve online via the parent portal LITTLE BIRD of the city of Essen or you can contact us directly. As there is no filtering for students in the application form, we kindly ask you to contact us directly in case of a registration and / or to indicate in the application form under "Other information" that you are a student.
